eakNet Gen 1 was the original Quensus leak detection control unit, designed to monitor water flow, identify unusual usage patterns and support automatic water shut-off when a potential leak was detected.
It helped introduce reliable flow-based leak detection for homes, plant rooms and commercial buildings, giving users greater visibility over water consumption and helping reduce the risk of costly water damage.
LeakNet Gen 1 has now been superseded by LeakNet Gen 2, the latest generation of Quensus leak detection technology. Gen 2 builds on the original system with improved hardware, enhanced connectivity, stronger monitoring capability and greater flexibility for modern residential, commercial and multi-zone applications.
For new installations, Quensus now recommends LeakNet Gen 2 as the current product for intelligent water monitoring, leak alerts and automatic shut-off.
Quensus flow-based devices accommodate pipe sizes up to 8″, so a single monitoring approach can cover mains supplies across commercial, industrial, and multi-occupancy buildings without forcing a downgrade in measurement quality.
