Leak Cable detects water along a length of sensing cable, making it ideal for monitoring larger areas where point sensors may not provide enough coverage.
Suitable for focused leak detection around compact areas, equipment or smaller risk zones.
A practical option for monitoring wider areas where water may appear along a route or surface.
Designed for longer detection runs across plant rooms, service areas or larger building zones.
Built for durable water leak detection across demanding environments and service areas.
Leak Cable works on the principle of water conductivity. When water appears anywhere along the sensing cable, the system can detect the presence of water quickly.
The cable is made from durable, eco-friendly material and has a 6mm diameter, making it suitable for practical installation across high-risk areas.
Leak Cable is supplied with easy-to-install cable fixing clips and connects through a 2-core cable setup.
When connected into the Quensus leak detection system, Leak Cable supports fast water detection, alerts and automatic shut-off where the system is configured with a compatible valve.
Leak Cable provides high-sensitivity water leak detection across a continuous length of sensing cable, making it ideal for areas where leaks may occur along a wider surface rather than at a single fixed point.
Made from durable and eco-friendly material, the cable works on the principle of water conductivity. When water appears anywhere along the sensing cable, the system can quickly detect its presence and trigger an alert through the connected Quensus leak detection system.
This makes Leak Cable particularly useful for plant rooms, service risers, utility areas, pipe routes, tank rooms, server rooms, basement areas and other high-risk spaces where early water detection is critical.
Leak Cable is available in 5m, 25m and 100m lengths, allowing it to be specified around the layout and risk profile of each site. It is supplied with easy-to-install cable fixing clips, helping teams secure the cable neatly around key areas that need continuous protection.
When integrated with the wider Quensus system, Leak Cable can support fast alerts, remote visibility through FlowReporter and automatic water shut-off where a compatible valve is installed.

Leak Cable is flexible and easy to route through plant rooms, under equipment, and along corridors, following the path water would take if a leak occurred.
Why it matters: rigid detection layouts leave gaps. Manageable cable runs mean faster installs, simpler maintenance, and coverage shaped to the risk, not the other way around. That reduces project cost and improves the chance moisture is detected before it reaches critical assets.
Central to Leak Cable and also relevant to SiteNet for Construction deployments where temporary routing must adapt as the site layout changes.
Point and cable sensors detect the presence of water at the earliest stage of ingress, triggering alerts before moisture spreads across floors or into plant equipment.
Why it matters: flow monitoring excels at mains-level anomalies, but not every leak originates on the supply you are measuring. Waste pipes, heating loops, and condensate can fail locally. Adding presence detection closes that gap and shortens response time in high-value or hard-to-access areas.
Core to Leak Cable for linear coverage and Splash Sensors for discrete locations such as plant rooms, risers, and under appliances.
Alerts can be sent to multiple stakeholders simultaneously: facilities, security, contractors, and estate managers, so the right people respond without single-point dependency.
Why it matters: water events do not respect org charts. Multi-recipient alerting reduces delay when the primary contact is off-site and creates an auditable chain of notification for insurers and compliance reviews.
Available across Leak Cable, Splash Sensors, LeakNet LP Data Logger, and SiteNet for Construction.
Leak Cable connects directly to LeakNet, integrating area-based presence detection with mains flow monitoring in one coordinated system.
Why it matters: separate alarm silos slow response and complicate commissioning. A single controller that understands both flow behaviour and cable trips gives facilities teams one alert stream, one shut-off path, and clearer accountability during an incident.
Designed for use with Leak Cable and LeakNet Gen2, which also supports leak cable inputs as an additional protection layer.
Leak Cable runs up to 100 metres per circuit, covering extensive floor areas and long plant routes from a single connection.
Why it matters: scaling linear detection without multiplying controllers cuts hardware cost and commissioning time. Long runs suit warehouses, data halls, and service tunnels where a single drip can travel metres before it is visible.
Standard capability of Leak Cable for large-footprint and high-risk environments.
Authorised users can shut off water remotely from FlowReporter when a leak is confirmed, from a phone, tablet, or desktop.
Why it matters: not every alert should auto-shut (think fire sprinkler supplies), but when human verification arrives, remote shut-off converts insight into action immediately. That reduces average loss per incident and supports lone-worker safety on large estates.
Works with Leak Cable, Splash Sensors, and SiteNet for Construction via the FlowReporter App.
Leak Cable is designed for large, high-risk floor areas where a single point sensor would leave dangerous coverage gaps.
Why it matters: warehouses, plant halls, and data halls can suffer six-figure damage from a slow leak that travels across an open floor. Linear detection catches moisture anywhere along the cable path, giving early warning before stock, IT, or structure is affected.
